The Opportunity Considered a dynamic and reputable law firm, McInnes Wilson Lawyers is on the lookout for a Legal Secretary to join their Real Estate & Projects team based in Brisbane.
This role will be working closely with our Senior Paralegal to provide a high level of administrative support to the team and has opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities Opening files; Processing incoming and outgoing payments to our trust and general accounts; Monthly billing and debtor management; Contract administration including preparing basic contracts, maintaining databases and daily bring ups; Liaising with clients, solicitors, real estate agents; Preparing and formatting legal documents; Managing incoming and outgoing mail; Scanning, filing, photocopying and archiving Requirements Previous experience in a legal office (desired but not required for the right candidate); Intermediate typing skills, use of MS office and Adobe; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; A high level of motivation and enthusiasm; A high level of focus and attention to detail; A team player attitude; and Strong organisation skills, together with the ability to manage conflicting priorities simultaneously.
