About You: You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family and Civil Law proceedings, including casework relating to Child Protection and Domestic Violence applications; plus, casework relating to Civil Litigation generally, such as Anti-discrimination matters, Estates, and Consumer Protection type matters.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years of full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases, including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work, and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.
