The role Our Consumer Protection Division promotes fair trading and consumer protection across Western Australia. Within this division sits our Legislation and Policy Directorate.
Legal Policy Officers develop, implement, and evaluate legislation and policy to identify options for reform and make recommendations to state government on Consumer Protection legislation and policy including changes to the Australian Consumer Law. 
Within this role you will be leading legislation and policy projects, providing complex legal and policy advice, consulting with both internal and external stakeholders on reform proposals, representing the Department on forums and performing a number of other important functions and duties.
You will be work alongside a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and supportive team.
If you have a degree in law or equivalent; and are eligible for a Practising Certificate together with experience working in teams to develop and implement legislation and policy with minimal supervision, then we want to hear from you!
