Role Overview: We are currently seeking a full time permanent legal operations coordinator to support our large in-house corporate legal team. As the Legal Operations Coordinator, you will be empowered to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Legal team which supports the achievement of the team goals and advance the broader organisational agenda. This key role has responsibility for delivering all administration and billing requirements for the teams to a high standard. The Legal Assistant will possess the confidence and capability to navigate the competing demands of a large corporate team with the highest level of confidentiality. You will be empowered with the following: provide high-quality administrative and office management services, including coordinating Legal team calendars (where required), handling correspondence, and managing communications (e.g., monitoring telephone calls and emails as required) perform administrative tasks associated with travel bookings (both domestic and international), processing expense claims, obtaining data, and facilitating payment processing (including law firm invoices) using internal payment systems, coordinating deliveries, liaising with couriers, and ordering office supplies assist in monitoring legal spend and budgeting, including raising purchase orders prepare and distribute reports within the Legal team and for wider distribution within the business advocating Jemena values and the Jemena business model; supporting and actively participating in programs that promote the Jemena culture in which exceptional individual and team performance is celebrated and rewarded maintaining awareness and current knowledge of, and complying with, all current and new policies and procedures, including following up with the Legal team to create and maintain focus and awareness within the team of Jemena policies and procedures utilization and updates Your experience: Experience in a legal secretarial or administrative environment including the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database software, arranging meetings and appointments, seminars/workshops and maintaining correspondence files Competency in handling and tracking payment of invoices and purchase orders. Ability to apply a range of technology skills, including an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with SAP would be a bonus.
