Band 6, Starting salary $88,418 (pro rata) plus superannuation

The Role
Working in our Governance and Performance unit, you will provide accurate and timely legal and governance services to the organisation on a broad range of matters including legal services, privacy and freedom of information (FOI), governance, legislative compliance and policy.
• Draft and negotiate the commercial and community leases for the City
• Oversee and maintain the City's legislative compliance system, relevant registers and policy framework
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have experience working in a legal or governance environment where you assisted lawyers in the provision of legal services, have the ability to understand and assist in the interpretation of Acts, regulations and subordinate instruments, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
