The role This newly created position will offer a visionary Lawyer the opportunity to be a core member of Australia's fastest growing professional services group. As a rapidly growing business, eager to challenge norms and embrace new technology, we are looking for an experienced Lawyer or Knowledge Manager to join our team and help propel our knowledge function forward.
Working closely with the Director of Operations, this position will be at the heart of our strategic knowledge innovation, ensuring that our business has industry leading knowledge tools and resources. In addition to helping us develop and manage our knowledge resources, you will have a high level of stakeholder engagement and work with our technology team to harness AI technologies to enhance our efficiency, improve client outcomes, and transform traditional practices.
This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility of both in-office and remote work, and can be undertaken from any of our east-coast offices (Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, or Brisbane). The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively from home and in our office as needed, with an ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Responsibilities of the role include:
liaising with and influencing relevant stakeholders to develop, build and implement precedents, templates and automated documents, to achieve the operational objectives of the business;managing, organising, coordinating and driving the group's knowledge resources and productivity resources in order to achieve improved efficiency and people experience;developing and implementing a strategic plan for incorporating AI into our knowledge resources, including identifying opportunities for AI deployment;developing research-based knowledge products and tools to incorporate directly into client facing teams services across legal, regulatory, risk and compliance;collaborating with the Technology and Risk and Compliance teams to enhance the group's knowledge resources and management systems using AI;assessing, managing and coordinating the group's external knowledge and resources, including managing the group's external knowledge budget; andproviding knowledge-related support and executing knowledge-related projects and activities.As a newly created position, this is a hands-on role where you have the opportunity to think outside to box. You will be able to navigate being in the detail, as well as playing an integral role in achieving our strategic goals.
About you We're looking for someone:
with tertiary Law qualifications;5+ experience working as a lawyer in a reputable firm or in-house;prior experience working in a knowledge-related role is beneficial but not essential;with strong stakeholder management skills;entrepreneurial, commercial and client-facing oriented;proficient with technology and an interest in AI;who is pragmatic, driven and an autonomous professional who thrives in a growing and fast paced environment;who has strong communication skills and excellent organisational abilities; andwith excellent attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities.The business HPX Group is a rapidly growing professional services business, specialising in solving complex client problems and working with clients and advisers to build long-term relationships and value.
