We're pleased to be partnering with one of the Asia-Pacific's leading renewable energy companies.The business has a strong track record of developing, financing, constructing and commercialising solar and wind power generation and energy storage projects in the Asia-Pacific region.Based in Brisbane, it is a portfolio company of one of the world's leading global independent infrastructure funds managers in the energy, transport and water/waste sectors.About the role:Due to consistent growth and the recent successful approval of a new major project, the established legal team is now looking to add a junior lawyer to the business.Reporting to the Head of Legal and working closely with the both the commercial and executive leadership teams as well as internal management across engineering, construction and approvals, the role will have a corporate, commercial and contracts focus including:drafting and advising on various contractual agreements including general commercial, construction, procurement, finance, confidentiality, access and property related agreements;general corporate governance;advising on environmental approvals;merger and acquisition transactional work and advice; andad hoc litigation where required to be managed.Skills/Experience:To be considered for this role you will have:2-4 years' PAE and an unrestricted practicing certificate;demonstrated experience in either front-end construction, corporate (M&A), commercial, energy and resources, finance, projects or environmental/approvals law;ideally top tier or national firm training;a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders.This is an exciting opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to make their first move in-house.
