Your new role Sitting in a supportive, collegiate-in-house legal team, you will be involved in the following: advising on potentially contentious and regulatory matters involving the organisation; advising on statutory obligations and assisting with enquiries and communications with regulatory authorities. assisting with responses to subpoenas and regulatory notices and advising the firm's auditors on their obligations to report breaches of the law by clients to regulatory authorities; assisting with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice on a variety of client engagements and supplier agreements, working closely with the organisation's risk and compliance teams What you'll need to succeed admitted to practice as a Lawyer in Australia ideally 4 - 8 years PAE experience in advising on court processes and statutory obligations (such as responding to subpoenas, regulatory notices, and breach reporting) ideally experience gained in a top tier or mid-tier firm and/or similar large corporation experience working within teams of lawyers, supporting and consulting senior lawyers; experience and confidence in dealing with and assisting senior management (both in written and verbal communications), including an ability to draft clear and precise legal documents and communications; What you'll get in return build your in-house legal experience with a leading international company attractive salary package flexible work environment paid study dress for your day health & fitness perks generous parental leave policy for mums, dads and foster carers Sydney CBD Location What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or for more information call Laura Keegan on 02 8062 6176 or email laura.keeganhays.com.au.
