Legal Counsel

About our client Our client is a market leading international consumer business with a portfolio of iconic brands.
About the role An opportunity has arisen for a lawyer with 5+ years' PQE in property law to join our client's Australia and New Zealand legal team.

The environment is fast paced, and the work involves close engagement with the business and stakeholders.
Working closely with the business, you will be responsible for a range of property and commercial matters, including:
Negotiating lease terms and amendments. Providing advice and identifying options and solutions on contentious leasing matters. Managing property litigation and disputes. Commercial contracts, procurement, and marketing. Your experience will have been obtained in a reputable law firm and/or in a recognised in-house team.
Some experience in retail leasing is essential.
You will have strong drafting/advisory and problem-solving skills and shall display initiative and a can-do approach.
Your ability to work as part of a team, develop and maintain relationships, and partner with the business will be critical to your success in the role.
