Allianz Technology are currently recruiting a Legal Counsel to act as senior advisor to the business' Australian leadership and operational teams.

You'll be responsible for: Becoming the primary point of contact for the legal function to manage corporate governance and controls for Allianz Technology, and to provide consultation to other business functions regarding legal issues. Applying legal oversight to contracts, transactions, corporate governance, litigation, tax, human resources (wage and hour, benefits, immigration, etc.), intellectual property, data security, privacy, investigations, and real estate. Drafting legal agreements and IT contracts, including complete vetting of internal and external vendor arrangements, IT services agreements, license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and settlement agreements. Monitoring regulatory changes in areas of business requirements and supporting the relevant teams with interpretation and risk assessments. Facilitating the preparation of agendas for local governance, risk, or board meetings, when necessary, in consultation with the Central Legal Team. About you: Extensive experience in relevant fields, with a strong understanding of industry-specific practices and requirements. Current Australian practising certificate granted in New South Wales. Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information. Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
