About the role: This is an important role in an extremely busy and fast paced environment in which you will provide pragmatic, commercially focussed legal advice to HANZ's business within the Holcim risk appetite.
The role will see you providing advice on a wide range of legal issues across a variety of areas including but not limited to: construction; transport; mergers and acquisitions; competition; property; planning; commercial and corporate; procurement; safety; environmental; and insurance.
You will identify, communicate and escalate significant legal risks and recommend solutions to ensure risks are proactively addressed and minimised.
Detailed responsibilities: Providing legal advisory in a timely, accurate manner on a wide range of legal issues in a fast-paced environment. Understanding the businesses risk appetite and applying that awareness when providing legal advice. Drafting, reviewing and advising on a broad variety of matters. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business and other functions to ensure the best results are consistently achieved for Australia and New Zealand. About You: Bachelor of Laws A current Practising Certificate issued by the NSW Law Society Industrial, manufacturing or construction experience preferred. At least 5 PQE including in-house and from a law firm. A high level of legal and commercial acumen. Resilient, pragmatic and able to work autonomously. Self-motivated and outcomes orientated.
