About the role We have a new opportunity available at Senex for a Legal Counsel to join us. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our dynamic team to propel us toward our operational and commercial goals for both existing assets and future growth endeavors. Working within a tight-knit legal unit, this role will have you providing legal support across a diverse range of matters that will include:
Contracts and procurement (including for Senex's major projects),Land access arrangements,Health & Safety,Project/infrastructure & commercial agreements.Additionally, you'll have the exciting opportunity to delve into broader commercial matters, offering guidance on government legislation and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in steering Senex toward its growth targets while ensuring full legal compliance and adherence to governance best practices.
About You With a solid foundation in law, boasting tertiary qualifications and the right to practice in Queensland, you will also join us with a minimum of 2+ years post-admission experience (PAE).
Your experience in the energy and resources industry, construction, and/or litigation is highly regarded, providing you as a valuable asset to our team.
You possess an exceptional aptitude for planning and organization, coupled with a proactive attitude that positions you as a natural leader.
