Join our Executive team as Legal Counsel, where you'll collaborate closely with diverse business leaders providing strategic and commercial legal advice to facilitate Advara HeartCare's growth and success.
What you'll do: Provide practical and strategic legal advice in respect of commercial contracting, property, construction, and regulatory issues.Identify and advise on the mitigation of legal, regulatory, and commercial risks.Perform legal research and analysis of legal issues encountered by the business.Review, draft, and revise a range of contracts.Assist with the maintenance of company secretarial records for group subsidiaries in Australia.Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders nationally.Represent Advara HeartCare in matters where legal representation is required.Who you are: Tertiary qualifications in Law.3-5 years PQE within a law firm or a fast-paced in-house legal team.Experience undertaking legal research, drafting legal documents and correspondence, and performing document review.A demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.A genuine interest in the healthcare space and partnering both internally and externally on legal matters.Proactive and self-driven.Strong attention to detail.What's in it for you: Competitive compensation package.Flexible work environment – you can choose the majority of your working week.Purchase additional annual leave as part of our annual leave scheme.Range of benefits such as 12 weeks paid parental leave.Work with a connected and collaborative Executive team.The opportunity to work for one of Australia's most influential healthcare providers, pioneering the way for innovation in cardiac diagnostics and treatment.Who we are: We are a team of over 800 highly trained and passionate healthcare professionals, innovative support staff, and leaders across 80 locations in Australia.
