Reporting directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, the role involves a broad range of responsibilities, including the drafting and negotiation of contracts, providing varied commercial and compliance legal advice, and assisting in dispute resolution.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Work on a wide range of commercial contracts, such as:industrial gas supply contracts with customersagreements with agents and distributorspurchase contracts for services, equipment, energy, and transport sourcingSupport sales team and procurement contracting processesProvide legal support in dispute resolutionAdvise on a range of compliance topics, particularly competition and small business contract/consumer lawProvide internal legal training, focusing on competition and consumer law, contracting skills for sales and procurement teams, and anti-corruptionParticipate in workshops and discussions with the broader Air Liquide international legal teamAre you a MATCH?Tertiary qualification in Law with 3-5+ years PQE of practicing experienceHold a current Australian practicing certificate or be eligible for admissionSecondment experience in-houseDemonstrated experience in commercial contract drafting and reviewGood foundation in competition and consumer lawPrevious experience in advising on construction law contracts, privacy law, employment law, and health and safety laws is well regarded but not essentialStrong communication, technical drafting, and problem-solving skillsSuperior attention to detail and good organizational skillsEnjoy working collaboratively as part of a small teamAbout Air LiquideA world leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 78 countries with approximately 64,500 employees and serves more than 3.8 million customers and patients.
