Legal Counsel - In House - Commercial Law Legal Counsel - Healthcare - Commercial Law About Our Client The client operates in the health care sector. Job DescriptionProvide legal advice, support and contracting services to teams in direct and indirect markets in the Asia Pacific region with a focus on health care compliance, commercial contract drafting/review and negotiationIdentify, manage and mitigate legal risk and opportunity in business activities within commercial projects, including development of bespoke contracts to support new health care/med tech product offerings and servicesStrategic advice and support to teams within the region on sales and go-to-market models and related customer contracts, third party seller arrangements and related commercial and operating modelsEnsure consistent use of template agreements within the business (including without limitation customisation of template NDAs, service agreements, distribution agreements and consultancy agreements)Legal support to functional teams (Finance, HR, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Tax, Corporate, Compliance etc) as requiredSupport on goods and services agreements for Marketing, Professional Services and Procurement functionsAdvise and support on technology agreements Supporting on M&A and integrations as required Liaising with the Global IP team on intellectual property matters within the regionSupporting on litigation and investigations as required within the regionAssistance with promotional material review and digital media content review including websites (instructing external counsel where appropriate) The Successful ApplicantStrong legal, analytical, communication and presentation skills for the candidate's level of experienceA keen interest in and ability to understand the business, its strategies, its people Able to work autonomously within the role and operate at a professional levelAbility to work collaboratively with others, both within and outside of Legal team.Strong time management skills coupled with an ability to manage both internal and external stakeholdersJD/Bachelor degree from a well-respected institution (Singapore/Australia/UK/US/Overseas) required as a minimum.Legal qualification in Australia/Singapore/UK/US required as a minimumThe role would suit someone with 5+ years post qualification experience in a law firm/in houseLife sciences and broad commercial transactional experience preferredWould suit a candidate who is seeking a high degree of responsibility and development of client base/practiceFluent in written and spoken English What's on Offer Attractive package
