About the role:
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (who is an ex top tier trained projects lawyer), your day to day role will include:
Negotiation and drafting contracts;Working closely with the operational and corporate teams on a broad range of matters impacting the business from supply/transport/logistics through to corporate JVs;Managing external counsel on litigation and dispute management;Assisting on business as usual legal matters including insurance, property, company policy/procedure, compliance etc.Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will have:
2-5 years' PAE in projects, construction, energy and resources or commercial law;Exposure to mining/resources/major projects will be highly regarded;Some exposure to in-house is preferred including secondment experience;A commercial approach and good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.Benefits:
