Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel with CleanCo, you'll report directly to the Senior Legal Counsel and work within our Legal & Governance team of skilled legal professionals.
You'll also engage with key stakeholders across CleanCo, including the Strategy & Development Team, Asset Operations, Procurement, and the Retail and Energy Markets team, and liaise with external legal advisors.
Your role will be vital in safeguarding CleanCo's legal interests and help the business deliver on its vision of a clean energy future, crafted in Queensland.
Core responsibilities of the legal counsel role include: Provide Legal Support: Offer expert legal advice on a range of electricity and energy project issues, as well as commercial contracts and corporate matters.Draft and Review Documents: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence.Ensure Compliance: Ensure the alignment of all legal documents with relevant legislation and CleanCo's risk frameworks.Collaborate & Educate: Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Engage with External Advisors: Manage relationships with external legal advisors to ensure high-quality service. #J-18808-Ljbffr
