Legal Claims Advisor - Common Law

02nd October, 2024 HAYLO People  is a specialist recruitment agency supporting people finding a role within insurance and personal injury claims.
We are working with a client who is one of Australia's largest and most respected meat and food processor.
They are looking for a Claims Advisor that will specialise in Common Law Claims.
As part of managing your own portfolio of claims, you will be required to determine liabilities on new and continuing claims and make decisions in relation to the legal aspects of the claims.
You will liaise with a range of stakeholders to ensure appropriate outcomes.
This is a permanent full-time role and there is a requirement to work 5 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:    Determine and gather information needed in managing common law claims Decide common law claims in accordance with relevant legislation Preparation for court matters, collating briefs to counsel, drafting various documents, and making arrangements for conferences Providing practical technical advice about strategic management, both generally and in relation to specific claims.
