Seeking administrative assistants to provide clerical and reception support, manage client inquiries, and assist our legal team in a dynamic environment at our Shepparton office.

3x full time ongoing positions (part-time applicants considered) Salary range: $62,123 - $76,425 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model About the role
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is looking for multiple administrative assistants to join our team at the Shepparton office, providing a mix of clerical and reception support.
Reporting to the Administrative Services Manager (ASM), you will handle tasks like data entry, document preparation, and file management to keep our operations running smoothly.

You'll also be the first point of contact for clients, welcoming them and managing inquiries both in-person and over the phone, all while supporting our legal team in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based at our Shepparton office on Yorta Yorta Country.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize your workload, and meet deadlines, even in a busy environment.
Strong communication skills to engage with clients empathetically and effectively, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
A commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused services in a sensitive environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with client database management.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team setting, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Experience providing administrative &/or reception support, ideally within a legal environment (highly desirable).
