This role provides clerical and administrative support to a friendly, focused and productive practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a top calibre team of high performing lawyers and partners.While this role is based in our Sydney CBD Office, at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.About the teamOur firm has one of the most highly regarded Private Client practices in Sydney, with an enviable list of clients who seek assistance with legal matters involving taxation, superannuation, business succession, estate planning, deceased estates, disputed and litigious estates and asset structuring.What does the role involve?Diary and file managementAdministrative support to the partners and fee earners in the practice groupOpening and closing filesPreparing, collating, amending and formatting documents and correspondenceAnswering phone calls, taking clear and accurate messages and passing to appropriate person(s)Inputting and maintaining client data into our CRM software (Aderant Expert)Monthly billingAssisting with client queriesAssisting and working with the Senior Legal Secretary/Paralegal to manage admin and document overflowOur ideal candidate will possess:5 + years' experience as a Legal Assistant. Experience and/or an interest ideally within Estate Planning, Deceased Estates, Tax, Superannuation and Business SuccessionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong attention to detailA flexible, friendly and approachable mannerAn enthusiastic and optimistic demeanourProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressureAbout Bartier PerryA 2024 Employer of Choice, Bartier Perry is a firm where our culture drives all that we do.
