Legal Assistant Sydney CBD | Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions | Permanent Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a high-performing team in our client's Sydney office.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers not only the chance to work with an outstanding firm but also continuous support and training to ensure your ongoing professional growth and development.
The Role You will play a vital role in supporting a dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions practice group by providing exceptional client service and administrative support.
In this exciting and impactful role, you will deliver essential support to three Partners, driving the team's success.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Managing complex billing and administration processes Drafting general correspondence, briefs, and other legal documents Scheduling internal and external meetings, managing diaries, and coordinating travel Assisting with the team's business development needs Coordinating and managing a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables Coaching and mentoring team Administrative Assistants Assisting with meeting and event preparation Liaising with clients and relevant stakeholders Other ad hoc responsibilities. About You To qualify for this position, candidates must have at least three years of experience as a Legal Assistant and a strong passion for collaborative teamwork.
Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions will be highly regarded.
Additionally, applicants should possess the following skills and attributes:
Experience with diary management and billing (essential) Previous matter management experience Proficient IT skills, including a strong understanding of Microsoft Suite products Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills Proficient matter and file management experience Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple tasks with a calm and can-do attitude A willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
