The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team in Hobart.
This role will support a number of solicitors at varying levels who specialise in a broad range of defendant insurance areas.
Duties of this role will include: file management – opening/closing files and filing/e-filing; monthly billing and reporting; adhering to client service standards; brief preparation; diary and travel management including booking appointments; and general PA and secretarial support.
About You This role will suit a candidate with the following: experience using precedent, billing and file management programs; enthusiastic and proactive approach to work; strong communication skills; and ability to build strong internal relationships.
