Legal Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities Work with and assist attorneys on a variety of litigation matters Make corrections to documents, proofread/format, collate, and organize documents/files Docket and calendar various attorney and Court appearances and deadlines Preparation of court and client documents including exhibits, bookmarking, OCRing, and Bates stamping E-filing Process medical record authorizations and manage process to obtain medical records Document management including scanning, printing, binding, and copying Other administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong proofreading skills are a must. Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 per year
