This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running and be part of a friendly, fast-paced team.You will be involved in a range of matters, including but not limited to:telephone handling for the team;organising calendars and monitoring inboxes;sending emails, letters, and briefs;saving and distributing incoming mail;filing, scanning, and creating briefs;drafting documentation as required;file opening, conflict searches, and closing files;preparing reports;billing and submitting invoices;reviewing, receipting, and EFT of trust payments;creating paralegal roster;organising team meetings and events;liaising with internal and external stakeholders;assisting other legal assistants as required;other ad-hoc administration duties as required.About youYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:a minimum of two years of legal assistant experience;experience in a busy insurance litigation practice is desirable;excellent communication skills;a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines;experience with Filesite and Aderant is preferred but not required.About usHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
