The Opportunity:
This national law firm is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Legal Support Professional to join the Disputes team. This role offers a competitive remuneration package that is reflective of the critical nature of the position within our firm.
This position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing a heavy matter management workload. Due to a heavy court appearance requirement, the main person you will support will often be out of the office, therefore it's crucial that you have the confidence and willingness to work with minimal in-person instruction. The main person you'll be supporting is frequently in court or meetings, so a significant portion of your communication will be via email. You will also collaborate closely with administrative tasks to the admin team.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a substantial matter management workload, ensuring efficient and effective support. Communicate and coordinate primarily through email, providing timely and accurate information. Work in partnership with the billing specialist to manage and split the billing load effectively. Delegate administrative tasks to Administrative Assistants as needed, overseeing their completion. Adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the role, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a legal support role, with a strong emphasis on matter management. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of work. Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing, to ensure clear and effective email correspondence. Ability to work independently and manage tasks with little to no in-person supervision. A proactive and adaptable approach to work, capable of quickly adjusting to new tasks and responsibilities. Benefits:
