THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Executive Assistant to support a Partner in the Melbourne office.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic role requiring exceptional organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
You will be the go-to person for managing a busy diary, coordinating complex travel arrangements, and providing vital administrative support for events, podcasts, and billing.
Key responsibilities include: Managing national and international travel arrangements; Scheduling and providing admin support for podcasts; Coordinating events, including sending personalised invitations; Billing, with responsibility for both standard and retainer bills; Complex diary management for a partner who travels frequently; Managing reports, including time analysis; Opening and closing files; and Organising the team's internal monthly newsletter.
THE CANDIDATE To succeed in this role, you will need at least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Executive Assistant, ideally in legal or professional services.
The ideal candidate will also have: Strong communication skills and confidence in a fast-paced environment; Proven experience in matter management or similar roles; Experience with travel arrangements and calendar management; The ability to take ownership of tasks with confidence and initiative; and Excellent multi-tasking abilities.
