Job Description Greeting clients and other persons attending the office Answering and transferring telephone calls Drafting emails, correspondence and other legal documents to clients and other interested parties Preparing briefs for Counsel Arranging conferences and meetings and general diary management Attending Court to file or uplift documents Entering time and creating draft bills and invoices Submitting applications and extensions on Legal Aid Grants Online Attending to other general office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, archiving, collecting post and banking. The Successful Applicant At least two years of experience as a Legal Assistant. Preferably experience in criminal law (however not essential, other areas of law will be considered). Law students will not be considered for the role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong work ethic and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously in a busy team.
