The Role Duties As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting two Team Leaders within the Banking and Restructuring departments, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations in Sydney. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative assistance to a team of approximately six individuals, ensuring seamless coordination and support. Duties may include: Managing complex diaries, coordinate travel arrangements, and organise events to facilitate smooth workflow. Oversee billing and expense coordination, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant protocols. Handle file management tasks including file opening and closure, electronic and physical filing, and scanning, while managing correspondence effectively. Assist in client relationship management activities, collaborating with the Business Development team to prepare client materials. Draft and amend routine and non-routine documents, correspondence, and presentations, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail. Undertake ad hoc duties as necessary to support team objectives. The Candidate Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a Personal Assistant or Legal Assistant capacity. Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex diaries, organising travel, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and draft basic correspondence and documents with accuracy. Familiarity with monthly billing processes using relevant financial software is advantageous. Tech-savvy with a strong command of Microsoft Office suite. Proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance team success.
