HopgoodGanim Lawyers are looking for a motivated Legal Assistant to join our firm. Supporting our Commercial Property team on a full-time basis, the key to this role is providing exceptional legal secretarial and administration support to both internal and external stakeholders.
This role will give you exposure to a variety of work involving the administrative practices behind leasing of commercial, retail, service station, and industrial properties acting for both landlords and tenants.
Key responsibilities include: File management – opening/closing files and filing; Monthly billing; Preparation of contract and leasing documentation; General administrative tasks and secretarial support; Dictation and amendments; Work with other Secretaries in the team to support practitioners. To be successful in this role, you will:
Have the ability to manage the demands of a busy role including high levels of organisation and efficiency, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure; Possess intermediate-advanced computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite; Have the capability to consistently meet deadlines with conflicting priorities; Pride yourself on your high attention to detail, with strong written communication skills; Exhibit excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
