Legal Accountant/Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Londy Lawyers, a sole practitioner law firm specialising in commercial litigation, is seeking an experienced Legal Accountant/Bookkeeper. 
About the Role:
As Legal Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a range of financial and accounting tasks including:
Processing client invoices and payments; Managing trust account transactions and ensure compliance with Queensland Law Society regulations;Managing accounts payable including entering supplier invoices and making payments;Attending to EOM/EOY processes/reconciliations for trust and general accounts;Processing weekly payroll;Attending to tax requirements, including BAS;Collaborating with external accountants; andAssisting with general accounting tasks and duties as needed. Essential Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting and trust accounting within a legal environment.
