About The Role The School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation is currently recruiting an Education Focused Lecturer in Sport & Exercise to engage in teaching, learning and coordination in several areas, including: Recovery and Nutrition in High Performance Sport; and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects in High Performance and Clinical Exercise Physiology.
In this role you will coordinate, prepare and deliver online and face-to-face lectures and tutorials, using a range of contemporary technologies.
You will strengthen partnerships with existing external practicum placement sites, identify new opportunities, and establish relationships to ensure sufficient practicum placements for students.
About You As a Lecturer you have demonstrated tertiary teaching experience, using blended learning approaches.
To be successful you will also have:
A PhD in Sport & Exercise Science or Clinical Exercise Physiology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience coordinating WIL experiences and understanding of practicum settings in Australia. Demonstrated excellence in learning and teaching activities, and understanding of contemporary teaching and learning approaches and adult learning theories. Eligible for professional accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia. Base Salary Range: $119,475 to $141,405 pa (Level B).
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
