Permanent/Continuing, full-time appointment Level B: $114,572 - $132,315 + 17% Superannuation Level C: $139,167 - $156,954 + 17% Superannuation Position will be offered at Level B or Level C commensurate with skills and experience About the Position The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will teach and coordinate subjects in Science Education across School of Education Initial Teacher Education degree, including those mandated by NESA for program accreditation.
This position contributes to the scholarly teaching, research, and governance efforts.
The role requires a development an independent program of scholarly research relating to Science Education, or to make positive and aligned professional contributions.
In this role you will be required to contribute to the School of Education in ways such as supervising professional experience and research students, support the development of strong school-university partnerships, contribute to marketing and engagement activities, collaborate in teams on matters pertaining to the smooth running of the School, and/or complete other governance activities as relevant to the role.
The Lecturer, Early Childhood Education will support the delivery of the Early Years program through teaching in child development, curriculum and pedagogy aligned to early childhood education.
This role requires a thorough understanding of The Early Years Program, its embedded professional experience and field placement requirements.This position requires subject coordination and teaching, initiating and collaborating on research activities in Early Childhood Education and Care, engaging with academic and professional bodies, contributing to community initiatives, and performing governance activities.
