About the role
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in English, Literacies and Languages, you will work with a highly productive team who teach in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The successful candidate will join a team who work with State Departments of Education, educational leaders, teachers, pre-service teachers, and school students in research partnerships and engagements that support initial teacher education and the ongoing improvement of curriculum, pedagogy and policy in schools.
You will be required to align with the UNE's Strategic Plan, Future Fit 2021 - 2030 and its goals of facilitating Personalised Learning Journeys, Empowering Communities and Building Resilience.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Provide high quality teaching and unit coordination in courses and units.
Develop, design and improve curricula and teaching resources.
Contribute to the supervision of HDR students.
Build a research profile working individually and/or in collaboration with colleagues.
Participate in School committee meetings and outreach activities.
Initiate and manage collaborations or strategic alliances and networks with groups related to the profession/industry/government that contribute to educational outcomes for UNE.
Provide leadership in the School and Faculty service activities.
