The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of diagnostic radiography and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting.
The appointee will be responsible for teaching general radiography using clinical simulation and a range of subjects which may include, but not limited to, medical radiation science, professional fundamentals and radiation biology and protection, using multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery).
The appointee will also participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and School's direction.
Experience in ultrasound and/or magnetic resonance imaging would be highly regarded, however not essential.
To be successful you will have: A qualification relevant to diagnostic radiography or equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate at the level being applied for.Full registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra).Sound knowledge and understanding of diagnostic radiography gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities and/or course administration.A record of academic achievement relevant to diagnostic radiography and the medical radiation sciences, in the scholarship of teaching and/or research or professional activity appropriate to the level being applied for.A demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching.Application Requirements Applicants are expected to apply online and submit a current resume and a 1 - 2 page "statement of suitability" demonstrating your skills, knowledge and/or experience relevant to the position (referencing theselection criteriawhen applying for this position).
