We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the School of Public Health and Social Work, Faculty of Health.
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Social Work will work with a team of highly experienced academic and fieldwork practitioners within the wider School of Public Health and Social Work.
The position will contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching in the Masters of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work, and Bachelor of Human Services programs.
The successful and highly regarded incumbent will have a record of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses and bring strength to all aspects of quality teaching, including conceptualizing, designing, delivering, and reviewing curricula.
Teaching areas of particular interest include – but are not limited to – critical practice, community development, cultural diversity, and disability/ableism.

Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area, and eligibility for membership of the AASW.Proven ability to effectively embed and deliver critical approaches to learning and teaching, including the innovative use of digital technologies and authentic assessment, resulting in quality student outcomes.Detailed understanding of critical theory and practice orientation as it applies to Social Work.Demonstrated success at developing internal and external partnerships that support and extend teaching and research.Successful track record of independent research, and track record of publishing original research.Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work collegially and cooperatively in a team environment.Level C
