About the roles
The Faculty of Law is currently recruiting academics at Levels B and C to conduct high quality research and teach in our undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programs. Here we provide a snapshot of what applicants will be expected to do:
Level B and C
Contribute to subject and course development and teaching delivery
Foster collegiate and effective team-work in the delivery of teaching
Undertake research and publish in high quality peer-reviewed journals and other appropriate outlets
Develop a national and international (as appropriate) research profile
Supervise Honours students and co-supervise Masters and Doctoral Students
Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive relationships within the university, the profession and the community
Participate in and contribute to the day-to-day work of the Faculty including participating in committees, events and engagement activities.
Level C
Apply for external grant funding and manage large grants and projects
About You
We are looking for applicants with:
A Doctorate in Law, or related discipline
A Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor
Knowledge of the law discipline, especially in relation to the faculty's core subjects.
An active research agenda and demonstrated excellence in learning and teaching within a law school.

All teaching areas are needed and we have a particular interest in building our teaching teams in the following areas:
Real Property
Administrative Law
Technology and law
Corporate and Commercial law subjects
Indigenous Legal Relations

Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $119,475 to $141,405 pa (Level B) Lecturer $145,237 to $166,792 pa (Level C) - Senior Lecturer. These roles attract 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. The positions are full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.
