The Chemistry Discipline is recruiting for two Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) teaching and research positions in Chemistry.
We are seeking highly motivated chemists, with teaching and research skills and experience in organic, inorganic and/or polymer chemistry.
The positions include teaching in undergraduate and/or Honours units within our Chemistry and Biochemistry Majors.
The candidates will be expected to develop high quality research and teaching programs, including lecturing at various undergraduate levels, supervision of students at undergraduate, Honours and PhD levels, publication of research outcomes and external grant acquisition from competitive grants and/or industry.

General responsibilities for these positions include:
Actively contribute to the organisation, planning, delivery and evaluation of teaching in the Chemistry Discipline.Demonstrate best practice, innovative teaching methods which enhance the student experience.Undertake world-class research, resulting in research student completions, publications in high impact peer-reviewed journals and successful grant applications.Actively engage with the Chemistry Discipline and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.Apply relevant health and safety standards, including responsibilities for Supervisors of undergraduate and research students.Promote the Discipline of Chemistry within and outside the University community by engaging in service and leadership roles, as well as outreach activities.In all interactions with staff and students, demonstrate the University values of integrity, respect, courage, excellence and impact.Please note you will require work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
