As a Lecturer in Psychology, you will contribute to Psychology (and related) disciplines across the Faculty of Health, including the development of new and innovative programs/units.
You will be involved in the development and teaching of units (courses), utilising both on campus, online, hybrid, intensive and flexible modes of teaching and learning.
You will be research active and engage in scholarly work that has real world impact and informs your teaching and learning in diverse educational contexts.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Ability to work collaboratively in the development, and delivery of psychology and interprofessional programs.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings and discipline committees.Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop subjects for in-person, intensive and on-line delivery.Ability to contribute to and lead the development of units/courses and student resources in response to reflective practice and application of scholarship (including for online and face to face teaching) and within the context and requirements of a quality education provider.Demonstrated ability to represent the University at a range of forums, and to liaise, communicate, negotiate, and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and partners, to deliver a valued service and achieve agreed outcomes.Have an emerging research profile including scholarly peer-reviewed publications and other research outputs.Willingness to embrace the knowledge, skills, and ideals of practice in rural and remote areas.Support the University's commitment to the principles of reconciliation, which exemplify respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage and the valuing of justice and equity for all Australians.Connections with, and contributions to, professional bodies within psychology.May have relevant clinical experience in psychology or relevant clinical profession.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992.

Appointment to this role will be at Research Active Academic Level B.
The base salary will be in the range of $112,710 to $133,262 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $131,870 to $155,916 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
