Continuing, full time appointmentTeaching Focused Academic Level B- $112,710 – $133,262 paPlus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveCasuarina CampusHelping in development of new and innovative programs, teach and help deliver improved student outcomes within CDUAbout the PositionAs the Lecturer in Paramedicine, your role is to play a significant role in teaching and coordinating units and courses to foster student retention and positive student outcomes.
You will be involved in participating in development and evaluating unit information documents for units and courses along with contributing to the discipline programs across the faculty.About YouTo be successful, you will require:Post-graduate qualification in a related field with extensive relevant experience and an eligibility working towards registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia (AHPRA)Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings, discipline committees and the broader Faculty settings.Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop and deliver theoretical content and skills training in face to face and online settings including mixed mode delivery.Ability to forge strong collaborative links and contribute to the growth of the paramedicine profession in the region.Demonstrated understanding of the challenges of paramedicine practice in rural and remote areas.Demonstrated knowledge of cultural safety principles.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992.First Nations applicants are strongly encouraged to apply & will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level B.
The base salary will be in the range of $112,710 - $133,262 per annum.
