About the roleAs an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of courses within the midwifery discipline at undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to the Institutes research program and administrative functions.
You will:
undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students;undertake research activities;supervise students undertaking project units and honours courses;participate in team projects and various committees as required.About youYou will work as part of the Institute's team of academic and administrative staff.
You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission.
You will be a creative thinker and avid problem-solver, who possesses initiative, innovation and a can-do attitude.
You will possess:
a current unrestricted registration as a Registered Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);a commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement;commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching;previous experience in academic administration;ability to work collegially.All University positions delivering education and/or services to children must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
