This will involve independent teaching and delivering quality education in accordance with academic policies and discipline-specific professional standards to allow students to apply their knowledge in practical activities, giving them the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders.
About YouTo be successful, you will require:
PhD in Information Technology (Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or other related area of Information Technology).Effectiveness as a lecturer at a tertiary level as evidenced by student and/or peer evaluation.Experience in new units and program development.A track record of performing research at an international standard in IT as evidenced by high-quality publications.Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences in written and oral forms to convey information and gain acceptance of ideas.Ability to foster team spirit and build and maintain cooperative relationships. Ability to build and maintain goodwill and dialogue with students and staff and to recognise and respond appropriately to their needs.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Research Active Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $112,710 to $133,262 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $131,870 to $155,916 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
