This role is based in Kadina, with occasional requirements to teach at other campuses or online. You will bring your expertise in aged care—both residential and home care settings—to support students' learning and ensure they are equipped to excel in the aged and community care sectors.
The role requires designing and delivering engaging learning experiences, maintaining student records, and adapting to the evolving educational environment.
The successful candidate must have:
Experience as a qualified professional within his/her area of expertise, in Aged care – residential and/or home care services.
Proven and relevant experience in the delivery of training and health assessment or professional development programs within the Health, Community and Foundation Skills directorate.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a Diploma/higher qualification in adult education, and a Certificate IV or higher in a related field.
Familiarity with online learning platforms and educational software, such as LEARN and Blackboard Collaborate, and in using Office 365, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and other web-based learning tools.
Ability to create learning and assessment resources, maintain student records, and deliver competencies that meet quality standards.
Other requirements:
Familiarity with the CHC33021 Training Package and current industry trends in the Aged, Disability, and Home and Community sectors.
Possess a range of teaching practices to support diverse learning styles, including the use of inclusive methodologies and development of relevant teaching materials.
Has the ability to interact professionally with students, peers, and industry partners to stay updated on industry standards and continuously improve training approaches.
