Our learning and teaching priorities are to develop and continually improve courses to provide a high-quality health workforce.This role is focused on teaching and coordinating units related to therapeutics and pharmacy practice, primarily within the Bachelor of Pharmacy program.
The successful candidate will need to embrace modern teaching methods and technology to deliver high-quality online and face-to-face education, including in clinical settings.To support the expansion of our programmes, we are offering a 0.9FTE opportunity based in Launceston, and 0.6FTE based in Burnie, but may be flexible for the ideal candidate.What you'll do:Lead innovative, high-impact teaching in Therapeutics & Pharmacy.Provide high-quality contemporary online and face-to-face teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with a focus on continuous improvement.Demonstrate a scholarly approach to teaching and curriculum development.Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive and effective links inside the University, and locally and nationally.Make an effective and sustained impact to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities.Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.What we're looking for:A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is desirable; however, exceptions may be made for individuals with extraordinary professional competence, clinical skills, and experience.Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
