Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice and TherapeuticsApply now Job no: 500415 Work type: Part time Location: Launceston, Burnie Categories: Teaching Focused About the opportunity We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Therapeutics and Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology which is part of the College of Health and Medicine.
This role is supported by the Commonwealth government's Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program which aims to increase the number of health professionals working in rural, remote, and regional Australia.

What you'll do: Provide high-quality contemporary online and face-to-face teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.Demonstrate a scholarly approach to teaching and curriculum development.Contribute to the development and maintenance of productive and effective links inside the University and locally and nationally.Make an effective and sustained contribution to the University in achieving its strategic objectives and fulfilling its operational responsibilities.Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.What we're looking for: A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is desirable, however, exceptions may be made for individuals with extraordinary professional competence, clinical skills and experience.Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
Exceptions may be made for individuals who are eligible for registration.Clinical pharmacy practice professional experience, particularly in a hospital setting.Clinical expertise with contemporary therapeutic knowledge and an ability to contribute to discipline research in the field of therapeutics and pharmacy practice.Proven experience and demonstrated achievement in the delivery high quality University-level learning and teaching in online, clinical and face-to-face environments.Salary details Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $150,759 pro rata comprising base salary within the range of $110,992 to $128,854 plus 17% superannuation.
