Base Salary: $112,717 - $133,853 + 17% superannuation and leave loading
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time (from 0.4 FTE) continuing position
Location: Newcastle (Callaghan) or Central Coast (Gosford) Campuses
About the role We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lecturers of Nursing to join the award-winning academics in the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
You will be responsible for the delivery of hybrid teaching into the Bachelor of Nursing program utilising your postgraduate education relevant to your expertise, contributing to the quality improvement cycle of the curricula, embedding contemporary practice and teaching approaches while participating in research and administrative duties appropriate to the appointment level.
You will also contribute to growing the professional profile of the nursing discipline at the University at a local, national and international level.
About you To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a doctoral qualification (or close to completion) or equivalent accreditation and standing in Nursing or professional equivalent.Hold current registration, as a Nurse, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions, notations or condition.Hold a postgraduate qualification in a nursing speciality for example chronic illness and disability; palliative care; simulation and professional skills; surgical nursing.Demonstrate recent ability to achieve teaching quality as indicated by internal and external surveys and outcomes for students that will improve or innovate curriculum in response to feedback.Display knowledge of and skills in the pedagogy of teaching and learning across a program and/or course.Be developing a record of publication or non-traditional research output in high-quality outlets and establishing research collaborations.Have the ability and desire to be involved in active supervision of honours, masters and/or higher degree by research projects.Please note, as part of the application process you will need to formally address each criterion of the Selection Criteria (including desirable criterion) in your application.
