Coleg Cambria is seeking a Lecturer in Media to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in media, across our level 2, 3 and 4 courses.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media and be able to teach a range of subjects including journalism, digital media, film, and television production. You will also be responsible for creating and delivering innovative and engaging teaching materials, ensuring that the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our students.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will also have a strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching and learning.
The start date for this role will be 30th June 2025.
Essential RequirementsTeaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)Educated to a minimum Level 4 qualificationDemonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developmentsKnowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environmentWelsh language skills are desirable for this position.
