About the role
Your specific responsibilities include leading initiatives in Diversity across UNE and/or locally/nationally.
You will bring lived cultural experience to support our Indigenous students to navigate the academic environment, work closely with the Professor of Indigenous Knowledge to enhance capacity in HASSE, collaborate with Academic and Professional staff in Education to support advancement of the profile of the School and UNE in regards to opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, and contribute to Indigenous Knowledges research for the promotion of community knowledge and advancement.
About you
As a Lecturer in Diversity, you will work with a highly productive team who teaches in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
You will be required to align with the UNE's Strategic Plan and demonstrate achievement in delivering high impact research, outstanding student experience, and creating a bold and innovative culture.
The position of Lecturer in Diversity provides strategic support and leadership in the School of Education, ensuring that the University's policies, procedures, and commitment to Equal Opportunity, Risk Management, Workplace Health and Safety, Records Management, and Quality Assurance are implemented and adhered to.
