Academic Level B | $110,127 - $130,325 p.a.
pro rata (Exclusive of 17% Super)
Location: Renmark | On the Traditional Lands of the First Peoples of the River Murray & Mallee Region View Position Description About the Role The Lecturer in Anatomy will play a vital role in advancing excellence in teaching and learning within the South Australia Rural Medical (SARM) Program.
This position focuses on delivering high-quality education across a range of medical topics, with particular emphasis on the fundamental disciplines of anatomy, pathology, and histology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making an independent contribution to both teaching and the scholarship of teaching.
This includes implementing innovative teaching practices and utilizing cutting-edge educational technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
By fostering an engaging and dynamic educational environment, the Lecturer will help cultivate the next generation of healthcare professionals dedicated to serving rural communities.
About You To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher in a discipline area related to Health or Medical Science or equivalent qualification in Medicine or Health
Significant teaching and learning experience and excellence at a tertiary level in medical education and/or health
Discipline-specific knowledge in medical year 1 and 2 subject areas, with a focus on the disciplines of anatomy, pathology and histology
Demonstrated contribution to academic quality assurance processes, such as topic or course reviews
Evidence of use of learning and teaching approaches which enhance student success
Experience with engagement within a relevant external professional domain and within a wider community context at local, national, or international level which could include working parties, committees, professional associations, and conference workshops.

Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA (FRRHSA) facilitates high quality multidisciplinary health education and research in our State's regional areas.
We have a strong national and international reputation for providing community-engaged inter-professional training for medical, nursing, and allied health students.
This includes the Doctor of Medicine Rural Stream (MDRS) program and multidisciplinary rural clinical placements.
About the SA Rural Medical Program The new SA Rural Medical (SARM) Program is a Commonwealth funded; end-to-end rural medical program based in our Rural SA campuses.
The SARM Program is one of the components that forms the University's Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) program which sits within the College of Medicine and Public Health.
The aim of the SARM Program is to contribute to strengthening the medical workforce in Rural South Australia.
This is achieved through the delivery of a fully accredited 4-year Doctor of Medicine program that is supported by dedicated academic and professional staff based in our Rural SA campuses.
The SARM Program will develop the medical workforce and transform the landscape of Rural and Remote South Australia.
