About the roleThe lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements.
The successful applicant will also have at least 5 years of current post-trade industry or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
Minimum Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will have a trade qualification relating to mobile plant or heavy commercial mechanical (or equivalent).
SM TAFE prefers lecturers to hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116, or TAE40110.
Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials are still eligible to apply, but may be required to obtain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment prior to appointment.
