The appointee will make a significant contribution to content development and delivery in Behaviour Change and Sports Psychology content for the Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology programs in the School of Health Sciences. The role will report to the Discipline Lead Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology and the Head of School and has no direct reports.
Skills Required:
A completed PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change)
Demonstrated experience in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change and/or health or sport psychology
Proven commitment to proactive maintenance of discipline knowledge and development
Experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of courses (subjects) and programs (degrees), at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
Experience of implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods
Demonstrated experience with industry and work-integrated learning
Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills
Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity diversity and inclusion initiatives
An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines
Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
